It’s been a while since we updated you on the progress of #Storytellers (our quest of turning a short story into a piece of music). Not because we want to keep it a secret (we don’t), but because we’ve simply been to busy writing (other) new songs.
But now we finally got round to taking the next step concerning Storytellers: we made an analysis of the story. Divided it up in pieces and described the emotions that go with each part. What we have now is the skeleton of what the song will be:
So what’s next? We’ll start fiddling around with themes, melodies and chord progressions. We’re still trying to figure out how exactly we will keep you abreast of these things. But somewhere in the coming weeks we’ll have an interview with the author Amanda Andrei, to get a little background on the story.
